RIBA helps people of all ages and backgrounds to understand and enhance the spaces and places in which they live, learn, work and play by exploring the built environment.

Span Trust contributed funding to celebrate 100 years of Becontree Estate in LB Barking & Dagenham. Becontree Centenary exhibitions had over 3200 visitors between October 2021and February 2022 in their headquarters.

And an estimated 12250 people saw a colourful art installation “Bringing Home to the Unknown” in Regent’s Park. This project was a result of collaboration between RIBA Learning and the POoR Collective delivering series of in-person workshops and skills training in architectural design and presentation to year 10 students which enable student to co-design this installation.

Celebration also included wide events’ programme that had close to 1000 attendees in exhibition centre, local schools and online with focus on the youth engagement.
