On a 12-acre protected green space in Epping Forest, Span Trust helped facilitate Organiclea to build an eco-friendly training room.

Organiclea is a community market garden in North-East London, producing and distributing organically grown produce locally. They also support schools by developing programmes specific to children with learning disabilities and for Pupil Referral Units for students excluded from mainstream education.

Span Trust were keen to support Organiclea in their endeavour to deliver training to adult learners on-site and supporting structured placements by developing a training space. We supported the design phase of the project, enabling Organiclea to develop skills in vernacular architecture; utilising materials found on their site such as clay.
