Ezra Umarpeh

Ezra Umarpeh is a patient support charity based in London. Span Trust are very excited to have created a dedicated Hospital Respite Project Volunteer Hub at their head office for volunteers to access at all times to pack and collect supplies. Their core services include the free loan of medical and mobility equipment and accessible transportation through the free hire of wheelchair adapted vehicles. Many of their services are volunteer-led, having 10 volunteers in 2009 they now have over 400 volunteers. This project particularly resonates with the trustees as we were able to relieve disability and alleviate the charitable needs of individuals and their carers by improving amenities.
