Bevington Trust - Primary School

North Kensington Primary School, Bevington Trust are building a new Science centre.

Funding a Living Wall and Weather Station was a rare opportunity to support both a design project and further Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects.

Specifically aimed at primary school pupils, the project will combine specialist facilities with curriculum expertise and community outreach. The living wall covers a section of the perimeter wall and a variety of carefully selected plants provide a varied learning, visual and scented experience. The long term intention is of using the living wall as an outdoor science laboratory.

This playful project advances education whilst brightening the built environment and this is a project Span Trust are excited to be a part of.
