198 Contemporary Arts and Learning

Art and design is a core part of Span Trust’s DNA and history.

As the charitable arm of Span Group, an architecture and design firm, Span Trust are keen to support the promotion of the arts. When the opportunity to support the Herne Hill based 198 Contemporary Arts and Learning centre’s redevelopment, Span Trust were particularly taken by the centre tripling their space to make way for an exciting and innovative mix of visual arts, community resource, industry skills training and creative enterprise across three floors.

In collaboration with funders such as Mayor of London Good Growth Fund and Arts Council England, Span Trust recognise the importance of this space in a time where community centres are fast disappearing.
